Freesolomonmusic! is a blog that promotes the latest Solomon Islands music. The main goal of this blog is to promote the unique style of Solomon Islands music that has never been heard before to the music world. Bands that have just been formed and want to expose their own unique style can use this blog to expose themselves to the outside world…because who knows, they might become superstars one day!

For a start, Solomon islands music fans can download songs on this blog for free however one of the long term goals for this blog is to shift from blogging to establishing itself as a commercial website where artists/bands can sell their singles or albums online from this website in the near future…or something similar, where artists/bands can get something from their hard work they put in to produce their single or album.

How we do it?

Good question, it’s not as hard as you think it might be, just time consuming at times. This blog is only administered by just two people and at times it was really difficult in order for us to find songs/music related news etc.

How do we get the songs?

From families and friends and sometimes (more frequently now), bands or inde artists themselves gave us a copy of their songs for us to promote. Also we search the web for the latest songs as well.

Why we do it?

Well, we know how hard it is to find this content, especially for the Solomon Islanders living overseas (and also our loyal Solomon music fans as well!) who finds it hard to keep up to date with the latest music back home. That is why this site was created, to keep you all up to date with the hottest songs and also just to share the Island beats to all.
